Fees & Insurance

My fee is $185 for a 50-minute session of individual therapy and $210 for a 50-minute session of couples therapy in 2024. Unfortunately, my sliding scale spots are currently full, but I can recommend trying to work with an intern or sliding scale clinician at Relationship and Sex Therapy Collective, Council for Relationships, Space to Reflect, PhIIRST, The Therapy Group, Walnut Psychotherapy Center, or Therapy Center of Philadelphia.

I don’t bill insurance directly; however because I am a licensed provider in Pennsylvania, I can provide you with statements to submit to your insurance provider if you have Out-of-Network Benefits (such as a PPO) in our state. (If you are looking for a therapist who takes your insurance, Psychology Today’s therapist finder lets you restrict your search by insurance plan.)

When you contact your insurance provider to determine what kind of coverage you have, you might want to ask:

  • whether you have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services

  • what level of reimbursement they provide and what they consider a customary fee to be

  • and whether you have a deductible to fulfill first
